A Security Officer is the primary contact between your
office and SenderoHealth. HIPAA mandates that each provider office
designate a Security Officer to be aware of the electronic
storage and transmission of patient information within and
from your office. Security Officers are responsible for
adding and deactivating users from their offices, as well as
setting access permissions for specific health plan features
such as eligibility, claims status, panel roster and Medical
Management. If you are not the appropriate person in your
office to be the Security Officer, please ask that person to
